The following post appeared on Facebook September 26, 2023 in the Prescott Preserve Facebook Group. Most poisoned animals die suffering alone. This one happened to be found by a woman who tried to help it. Please don't use poison. It hurts so many creatures beyond measure, beyond repair.
This just brings me so much sadness. About once a month, Great horned owls are in a tree outside my window overnight. I can't express how sacred that sound feels.
